    The General Contractor

This 30 second trailer is from a research film that brings to life the world of the general contractor. It was produced as part of a research study for a large firm in the home building industry.

Photography to express what words won’t say

Our photography follows the same philosophy as our research films. Rather than generic portraits or stock imagery, we capture people in the context of their real work and lives—the details, environments, and moments that reveal meaning and bring stories to life.

Because the work is informed by research, we know what to look for: gestures, tools, spaces, and scenes that tell the true story. Images can stand alone as a photo library, be assembled into photo essays, or be used to bring research and leadership presentations to life with authenticity and specificity.
